How We Work ("the Service") is a tool for sharing what you would like people at work to know — with only the people you choose. Because what it handles can affect your standing at work, we think it needs to say clearly what we collect and what we do not.
What we do not collect
We will start here.
- We never ask for a diagnosis or a condition name. There is no field for it.
- There is no feature for logging how you feel day to day. We do not ask you to record your condition each day.
- We do not collect records of medical appointments, medication, or any other medical information.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not read your contacts.
- We do not use advertising identifiers. We show no advertising.
- We do not use what you write to train artificial intelligence.
- We do not sell or provide what you write to third parties.
The Service is not here to judge what kind of person you are. What it handles is only what is needed to work together.
That said, what you write yourself is visible to the people you share with
We do not ask for any of the above, but anything you write yourself in a free-text field is stored as written, and is visible to the people you have shared it with.
For example, if you write a diagnosis, a condition name, how you felt on a given day, or a medical appointment into the body of an item, it reaches the other person as part of that item. We simply do not ask — we have not made it impossible to write.
What you write is up to you. Anything the other person does not need to know, you are free to leave out. The Service is built to work without it.
What we collect
1. Account information

You can choose one of three ways to sign in.
- Sign in with Apple — if you choose "Hide My Email," all we receive is the relay address Apple issues. Your real email address never reaches us.
- Google account — of the information we receive from Google, we store only your email address. We do not store your name or profile image.
- Email address (magic link) — we receive only your email address. No password is created.
2. What you write
We store the items you write in the Service (things to know first / what is hard for you / what you would like to try / requests / where you stand). This is the heart of the Service; without storing it, the Service cannot work.
3. Sharing records

- The name you gave each recipient (as you entered it)
- The fact that someone responded "Got it," and when
4. Payment records
If you purchase a paid item, we receive the fact that a purchase occurred, through a service operated by RevenueCat. Payment details such as card numbers never reach us. Payment is processed by the App Store. We use it to confirm purchases and to total sales.
5. Reports
When you send a report from "Report" in the app, we receive the type and situation you chose, your short note, your account email address, and the app version, build number, OS and device model. Reports reach us by email, and we use them to reply and to investigate faults. The items you have written are not sent.
6. Notification address
If you choose to receive notifications, we store the information needed to deliver them to your device. Notifications never include what you have written.
7. Technical records
To run the Service, records such as access times and error details are kept temporarily. We use them to investigate faults, and for nothing else.

We cannot technically prevent someone who receives a share link from forwarding it to others. Please choose who you share with. You can stop sharing at any time.
Where it is stored
The Service uses the following providers.

What you write and your account information are stored on servers in Japan (Tokyo region).
Parts of the delivery and payment process do pass through providers outside Japan. Information related to payment may be handled outside Japan.
How to delete

Delete items one at a time: at any time, in the app.

Stop sharing: at any time, for each recipient. A link you have stopped can no longer be opened.

Delete your whole account: from the app's settings, entirely within the app. No enquiry is needed.
When you delete your account, everything you have written and all issued share links stop working. This cannot be undone.

About the waiting list email addresses
Before launch, we collected email addresses outside the app (through a Google Form) to send news of the release. We promised the following about them.
- Purpose: to send one message announcing the release.
- No other use: we do not use them for any other contact or for marketing.
- Retention: we delete them at the point the announcement is sent.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 13. If we learn that we have received information from someone under 13, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date on this page. If we make a significant change, we will also let you know in the app.
